In order to enhance the quality of medical education and support students’ professional development, Caucasus International University (CIU) and I. Tsitsishvili Children’s Clinic have implemented another significant event within the framework of collaboration.
On May 14, the management of the clinic hosted an interactive session with students of medical educational program at Caucasus International University. The discussion focused on the challenges in contemporary medicine, the advancement of clinical practice and the various opportunities available for professional growth within the healthcare sector. Students had the opportunity to engage directly with representatives of the clinic—ask questions, and become familiar with the specificity of clinical activities.
Special emphasis was placed on career development prospects. Clinic representatives introduced students to existing employment opportunities, which further strengthens the goal of the university and the partner clinic - to create an effective connection between education and practical experience.
This collaboration serves as a successful model of integrated medical education, providing students with not only theoretical and practical knowledge, but also the opportunity to enhance their professional competencies in a real clinical setting—preparing them effectively for future career advancement.
