The students of International Relations program carried out a large-scale English-language simulation, under the supervision of Nana Parinos, PhD., Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Caucasus International University on December 25.
The open lecture-simulation consisted of two parts. The first part was dedicated to a political talk show, where students (Nano Gelantia, Keti Imnaishvili, Anano Nozadze, Nini Chumburidze) played the roles of hosts and international relations experts. The talk show was saturated with advertisements presented by students: Khatia Katamadze, Keti Bidzinashvili and Giorgi Giorgadze. The event was chaired by Lizi Tsotniashvili, a student of International Relations program.
In the second part of the simulation, the students moved to the period of the Second World War and made five dictators of the world (Giorgi Zhorzholiani, Lizi Kuchuashvili, Tika Gazdeliani, Ana Ambidze, Nano Gelantia) meet each other.
It is worth mentioning that the students demonstrated high competence in the English language at the event. The above-mentioned type of modeling is of particular importance for international relations students, as it is loaded with English-language political terms.
The meeting was attended by Nana Amiranashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ekaterine Chalaganidze, Deputy Dean, Alika Guchua, Head of the Undergraduate Program in International Relations, Giorgi Pareshishvili, Advisor to Rector, representatives of the administration and students.
