The International Republican Institute (IRI), with the US State Department funding, hosted the second dialogue within the framework of the project “Build Georgia” on February 2-5.
The project “Build Georgia” aims to involve successful leaders and leading experts in various fields in the ongoing processes in Georgia in order to jointly develop ways to solve the problems in the country.
The second dialogue format aimed to present the recommendations of the working groups on the subject of brain drain from the country, to reconcile opinions and to start working together on this challenge.
It should be noted that Kakhaber Kordzaia, Caucasus International University Rector, was invited to the event as moderator of the academic group, and Giorgi Fareshishvili, Adviser to the Rector of Caucasus International University, as moderator of the inter-religious group.
About 80 representatives of academic circles, civil society, religious organizations, youth unions and business sector attended the event.
Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the Ministry of Education and Science also participated in the process.
