Mr. Zviad Gabisonia, Director of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation held a meeting with students, academic and administrative staff at the Conference Hall of Caucasus International University on May 24, 2019.
The meeting was opened by Mr. Kakhaber Kordzaia, CIU Rector. He discussed the current collaboration between the foundation and the university and future prospects. After the Rector's welcome, the Director of the Science Foundation introduced its priorities, achievements and challenges to the guests. In addition, he placed emphasis on the development of scientific researches and the necessity of collaboration with EU countries. The presenter discussed with the audience the competitions of the current year with the participation of adolescents and young people, as well as the foundation scholarships for young scientists.
Mr. Zviad Babisonia provided answers to the questions of the academic and administrative staff at the second part of the meeting. He visited the material-technical base of both buildings towards the end of the visit.
