Caucasus International University Georgian and international students of the faculty of Medicine had final exams by using modern assessment methods, in the format of Objectively Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) in the following disciplines: Propaedeutic-Physical Research Methods; Gynecology/Urology/Clinical Skills; Basic Surgical Skills.
An electronic system for examination procedure management has been implemented for the first time, which ensured accurate and unobtrusive management of student movement and delay time at 12 stations.
We would like to remind you that the Objectively Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) represents a new method to assess knowledge and skills. Nowadays, it is approved as one of the basic standards of medical education by the World Federation of Medical Education and the World Health Organization.
This method is used to evaluate clinical skills acquired by a student and their clinical competences.
