A professional tour at the oldest pharmacy in Tbilisi was held within the framework of the Pharmacy Week by the initiative of CIU Career Development Service and Gia Chubinidze, Supervisor of Undergraduate Program in Pharmacy on September 17, 2019.
The freshmen enrolled in the Pharmacy undergraduate program with the highest scores visited the pharmacy, which was opened by Provisor Schoenberg on May 6, 1829. GPC pharmacy of company GEPHA is currently located in this building.
Company representatives, Nino Burkadze, a regional manager and Nino Tsikhishvili, pharmacy manager introduced to students the history of the pharmacy, specificity of its activities, discussed the profession of pharmacist, employment opportunities and career stair. In addition, they responded to students’ questions.
Students were awarded souvenirs towards the end of the meeting.
