In total 28 students from Great Britain, Canada, Denmark and Sweden have been admitted to Caucasus International University for 2018-2019 autumn semester. They will study on educational program in Medicine and Dentistry offered in English.
Welcome ceremony was held for the students on November 8, 2018 and it consisted of two parts. Kakhaber Kordzaia, CIU Rector and Lali Mekokishvili, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine greeted the students at the first stage. CIU representatives congratulated students on the commencement of the academic year and wished them productive year. The event was attended by CIU students, members of student self-governance, academic personnel and the representatives of the administration.
It is worth mentioning that CIU student mentors showed to the students the material-technical base of the university, renovated library, laboratories and Centre for Clinical Skills.
In the second part of the welcome ceremony, British, Canadian, Danish and Swede students had a welcome party in an informal environment with CIU student mentors and the members of student self-governance. The university band provided the musical accompaniment of the evening.
