Training course in Wine Tourism, a joint project by Caucasus International University (CIU), Georgian EnoTourism Association (GETA) and Gastronomic Association of Georgia (GAG) has ended.
The training was led by experienced Georgian and Spanish trainers who, along with theoretical knowledge, offered the participants both a gastronomic tour – “Matching Georgian Cheese with Georgian Wine” and master classes in wine tasting and serving.
Within the framework of the course, a wine tour was held in IIago’s Winery”, where the participants got to know the concept and positioning of the winery, the main aspects of wine tourism business management and tasted different types of wines.
At the end of the training course, a final exam was held, as a result of which the 4 winners will go to Spain, where they will be given the opportunity to undergo a free two-week professional practice.
It should be noted that each participant of the course will be awarded a bilingual certificate from Caucasus International University (CIU), the Georgian EnoTourism Association (GETA) and the Gastronomic Association of Georgian (GAG).
