An information meeting on EU initiative was held with Caucasus International University administration on April 22, 2019. The meeting was conducted by Project Coordinator in Georgia and Azerbaijan, Mr. Zviad Archuadze.
Mayors for Economic Growth is EU initiative, which was set in operation in January, 2017 and is implemented within Eastern partnership framework. The overall goal of the initiative is to support Mayors and municipalities of the Eastern partnership countries to become active facilitators for economic growth and job creation at the local level.
After introducing the initiative, the emphasis was placed on the possible involvement of Caucasus International University in the project, which envisages assistance in elaboration and improvement of economic plans for municipalities.
