The American project – “GLE” (Global Learning Experience), in which only Caucasus International University is involved from Georgia, was awarded The Damrich Award for “Innovative Teaching”!
Since 2022, Caucasus International University has actively been cooperating with DePaul University (Chicago, USA) not only in the direction of media development, but also in global education and experience.
Zaza Tsotniashvili, Affiliated Professor of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Head of CIU Undergraduate Program in Journalism, Professor, Doctor of Journalism and Head of the Postgraduate Educational Program in Media Studies and Multimedia Production, participated in “GLE” project on behalf of Caucasus International University from Georgia. Various higher educational institutions from five countries participated in it. Mr. Tsotniashvili at the same time gave lectures to students of the English language program of DePaul University and Caucasus International University on the topics: Information Wars, Cyber Wars and Propaganda.
The Innovative Teaching Award is an important recognition that promotes the implementation of innovative learning and teaching methods.
It should be noted that within the framework of the mentioned project, future cooperation is planned, which also aims at the professional involvement of CIU students.
