The University Associate Professor, Politologist Petre Mamradze delivered a public lecture for students of various faculties and academic personnel at CIU Conference Hall.
The speaker introduced “Global, Demographic and Geopolitical Changes at the Beginning of the 21st Century” and placed emphasis on several main directions during his speech.
Mr. Petre Mamradze discussed specific facts and examples based on personal experience and statistical data.
The speaker focused on those demographic problems that exist in the whole world and threaten developed countries. From this standpoint, he highlighted the significance of increasing birth rate in comparison to the mortality rate.
Petre Mamradze reminded the audience the universal law: ethnos, which will become familiar with high level of civilization, necessarily will lead to death.
As stated by the presenter, demographic cycles were most perfectly described by Aristotle and Plato.
The concluding part of the public lecture was in question-response format, where CIU Associate Professor answered all additional questions and comments.
