Annual 6th International Conference for BA, MA and PhD Students was held at Caucasus International University.
Kakhaber Kordzaia, CIU Rector opened the plenary session and welcomed the attending audience. The rector placed emphasis on the significance and necessity of international conferences and showed Socratic View – knowledge as kindness and ignorance as the greatest evil.
Hamid Mostafavi, Advisor of the Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran in Cultural Issues presented in front of the audience. He talked about scientific, cultural and diplomatic relations between the two countries and greeted the conference participants.
Nino Mindiashvili, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, Deputy Head of CIU Department of Scientific Researches introduced conference organizational issues to the audience. As stated by her, unprecedented number of more than 400 applicants expressed their desire to participate in the conference this year. Eventually, 274 papers have been selected. 380 Georgian and international students participated in the 6th International Conference held at CIU.
It is worth mentioning that the session of future students has been functioning at the conference for the second time this year. The latter was composed of students of Georgian National Youth Palace and Public Schools across Georgia.
Presenters of Students Sixth Scientific Conference were divided between the following sessions: Business and Economics, Iranian Studies, Medicine, Viticulture and Winemaking, Journalism, International Relations, Law and Future Students. Working languages of the conference were Georgian, English and Russian.
Presentations were made on such significant issues as: Terrorism, as Global Challenge of International Security, Children and Violence – Media Monitoring and Analysis, Georgian Painters in Safavid Iran, The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Public Governance, Palliative Care - the Essential Reality of Modernity, Franchising in Tourism Business, Major Fungal Diseases of Vine and others.

The presenters were awarded certificates by chairs and committee member at the concluding part of the conference.
It is worth mentioning that the participants of Iranian Studies session were awarded certificates by Hamid Mostafavi, Advisor of Islamic Republic of Iran in Cultural Issues.
