Levan Zhorzholiani, a chairperson of the Legal Issues and Human Rights Commission and Nino Latsabidze, a member of Assembly, Majoritarian of Isani region visited the University within the framework of the memorandum between Caucasus International University and Tbilisi Municipality Assembly by the initiative and organization of the parties.
Vladimer Macharashvili, Dean of CIU Faculty of Law presented the speakers to the attending audience.
Within the framework of the visit, Levan Zhorzholiani discussed the essence of municipal law, its place and its role. The speaker talked about basic principles for arranging local self-government and legal principles and basic principles of the European Charter.
Nino Latsabidze, a member of Tbilisi Municipality Assembly, Majoritarian of Isani region placed emphasis on the functioning of the Assembly and its purpose. She focused on the importance of youth and the need for effective communication in this process and shared her experience with students.
At the concluding part of the meeting participant students were awarded special certificates.
