Caucasus International University students of the Faculty of Medicine participated in the International Student Scientific Conference held at Georgian National University (SEU) on behalf of CIU and presented the topic on blood donation, which became a winner.
Students were able to work at the following sessions during the conference: Humanities and Social Sciences, Business, Economics, Tourism, Law, International Relations and Medicine.
Mariam Barbakadze and Giorgi Popiashvili discussed as a group the new tendencies of birth for the audience. Nino Bekauri and Ana Jamburia placed emphasis on the current issues regarding salt consumption and suggested the audience to cut down on salt consumption.
“Social Aspects of Blood Donation” – this is the topic which gained the approval of the jury and the audience and the presenters – Teo Tavartkiladze and Lado Mshvildadze became the winners of the Medicine session.
CIU students’ presentations were supervised by Ms. Maya Svanidze.
Together with the students of Caucasus International University, students of Georgian National University, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University and other of higher education institution were able to obtain the status of the winner at the conference.
Georgian National University (SEU) awarded certificates to the participants and souvenirs to 12 winners after the completion of the conference.
