The 10th regular championship of 2017-2018 “A” League finished at Tbilisi Olympic Palace and four teams fighting for the Super League have been revealed. One of them is Caucasus International University basketball team.
CIU team played against “TSU-Hyundai” and “Tulips” played against “Arena” according to the results of 3 April playing day in order to move to the Super league.
University basketball team met “Tbilisi” and won two periods out of four with the score 29:19 and 29:15. The final score was 88:70.
American player, Rayan Aaron with 23 points was distinguished among CIU players. Anton Collins had five passes and Vaka Bichiashvili had nine rebounds.
The fight for revealing the winners of “A” League will be resumed from the semi-finals stage after the Easter holiday. The semi-final and final series will last till two victories.
