Seminar dedicated to Women’s International Day was held at Caucasus International University Conference Hall. The event was organized by Indian Embassy in Yerevan (the embassy is also accredited in Georgia).
Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Assistant of Attache, representative of the embassy discussed gender issues, Indian duties in the problems of strengthening women and the banning of discrimination.
On behalf of CIU, CIU Associate Professor, Tamar Kiknadze, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences - Irina Ghvineria and Chief Consultant for Media and Public Relations Office of the Supreme Court of Tbilisi - Khatuna Charkviani became engaged in the discussion.
The speakers discussed the issue of strengthening women and placed emphasis on historical part.
The seminar dedicated to Women’s International Day was organized by the support of CIU and non-governmental organization “Cultural Diversity for Peaceful Future”.
