CIU team continues to successfully participate in University Basketball Championship.
In the semi-final match, the team defeated Georgian National University with the big difference (83: 62) and managed to obtain the first victory in order to get to the final.
In the semi-final CIU team meets SEU team and Ilia State University basketball players oppose Georgian Technical University team. In order to get to the final stage, which will be held by the end of the month, the opponents will have to get two victories.
