Ketevan Shoshiashvili, Doctor of Historical Sciences and CIU Associate Professor held a public lecture - “Autocephaly of Georgian Apostolic Church” at the Conference Hall of Caucasus International University on 22 March, 2017.
The presenter analyzed in details the hard period lasting for 106 years, after uniting Georgia with Russian Empire. Georgian church also became a part of the synod of his holiness Alexander I and the autocephaly of Georgian church was abolished consequently.
The lecture was attended by the university administration, students and individuals interested in the topic.
