CIU students, Eka Papunashvili and Demetre Lomadze organized debates held on Karl Popper’s principle within the framework of the Students Self Governance project - “Student Life 2016-2017” on 20 March, 2017. The event venue was the Conference Hall of Caucasus International University.
Six students specializing in International Relations from the faculty of Social Sciences at Caucasus International University participated in the above mentioned activity. They formed two groups who were for and against the topic.
While evaluating the participants the emphasis has been placed on orator skills, presenting argumentations in connection to resolution and annulling opposing arguments.
The group that was against was named as a winner.
A number of events are to be held within the framework of the project “Student Life 2016-207” as stated by CIU Students Self Governance. The winners will be awarded cash prizes at the final.
