A seminar-workshop “Transformation of Conflicts by Creative Methods” was organized by NNLE Institute for Multi-Channel Diplomacy of Georgia and by the financial support of the foundation HEKS/EPER on 3, 4 and 5 March, 2017. Theoretical and practical methods of conflict transformation were used within the framework of the event. The event was implemented within the frame of the project “CREATE”.
The participants had opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge about creative methods of conflict transformation and attend plays at Akhmeteli theatre demonstrating various social conflicts.
The participants became engaged in the transformation process of concrete conflicting situations which were held within the framework of the discussion held after the performance.
The students have opportunity to find “optimal way” out of the given situation by becoming engaged in the process of decision changing and this forms the basis of “CREATE”: catastrophe is not the necessary end of the tragedy and positive solutions can be found for every conflict by using creative approaches. Simultaneously, polyphonic method is used while making a decision.

Seminar topic: AleksandreRusetski’s “Intrapersonal Theatre”
A person’s psycho-social anatomy theatre represents the correlation of the existing roles, the method is oriented on creating or/and increasing the skills for managing and transforming personal conflicts. The above mentioned method is an opportunity for individual’s psychological defense, especially from manipulations and conflicts of various types.

Discussion: Analytical analysis for Post-modernistic interpretation of William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” and creative ways for finding conflict transformation of community: to what extend is this tragedy significant nowadays and to what extend does community conflict define the catastrophe of social existence? How should this issue be approached by citizens nowadays? How to avoid the tragic ending of Romeo and Juliet?

Seminar topic: “Family and Interpersonal ConflictTransformation”.
Rodrigo Fisher’s play – “2+2=2” has been showed within the framework of the seminar “Family and Interpersonal Conflict Transformation”. It depicts the dilemma of modern post-industrial and alternative family and tragedy. What type of identity should a modern individual choose, and a man’s and a woman’s identity is easily changeable.
