A regular meeting of civic education lecturers was held in Kutaisi on 25-26 February, 2017. Professors from the leading universities in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Zugdidi and Gori participated in the meeting.
Associate Professor Tsitsino Bukia, Doctor of Social Sciences represented Caucasus International University.
The meeting was opened by Tamar Karaia, Executive Director of Civic Education Lecturers’ Association (CELA). Tina Norakidze and Kakha Uriadmkopeli, lecturers from GIPA and Georgian-American University discussed the new edition of the teacher’s book for the course “Democracy and Citizenship”. The activities from this book were used during the meeting. These activities will simplify the acquisition of materials for students.
