A Commission of Young People with Special Talents was Held at the City Hall of Zugdidi Municipality

A Commission of Young People with Special Talents was held at the City Hall of Zugdidi Municipality where 48 students were awarded the Mayor’s scholarship. CIU students: Bakur Khubulava, Giga Gogua, Erekle Chulukhadze, Nino Kozmava are among them, who won the competition based on the points of the last academic year. They will be awarded scholarship for nine months.

“Our goal is to help young people to be competitive both locally and internationally. The number of scholarship holders has almost tripled this year, which should be encouraged. The more successful and motivated the youth, the more chances the country has to become a rich and powerful state. Involvement of young people in the development of the municipality will overcome the challenges in important areas for the society faster, their knowledge will be very useful for the city and the whole country,” stated Zugdidi Mayor Giorgi Shengelia.
