Winter School / Day Two

The activities of Caucasus International University winter school On Local Self-Governance was held on February 6.

The second day of the school was devoted to the lecture delivered by Tornike Gogisvanidze, the representative of the Training Center of Central Election Commission, on the topic: “Innovations of the Electoral System and Peculiarities of Conducting Local Self-Government Elections”.

Bakur Khubulava, a student of the Doctoral Program in Political Science of Caucasus International University, presented a general overview of local self-governance to the audience, and in the same part, the students of the school were given practical tasks.

CIU winter school, supported by Tbilisi City Municipality Assembly will continue until February 10, and along with theoretical issues, it is loaded with a variety of practical activities.
