An online winter school camp of Viticulture-Winemaking at Caucasus International University was opened on December 12.
About 200 pupils of X, XI and XII grades have registered for the online school camp.
They were greeted by: Professor Kakhaber Kordzaia, Caucasus International University Rector, Olan Gotsiridze, Dean of CIU Faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking and Lasha Bodaveli, Project Manager and the Faculty Coordinator.
The online meeting was held in two parts:
Students were informed about the faculty and material-technical bases and took a pretest at the first session.
Olan Gotsiridze, Dean of the Faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking held a meeting on the topic: Historical and Cultural Review of Viticulture-Winemaking at the second session.
The meeting ended in an interactive way.
Online meetings with leading professor-trainers will be held every weekend from 12:00 to 15:00 until December 27: Olan Gotsiridze, Dean of the Faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking; Lasha Bodaveli, CIU faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking Coordinator; Levan Ujmajuridze – CIU Professor, Director of LEPL Research Center; Marika Mikiashvili – CIU Associate Professor, Member of the Tasting Commission of the LEPL National Wine Agency, Chief Specialist of the Food Research Department of the Ministry of Agriculture; Irma Mdinaradze, CIU Associate Professor, Chief Specialist of the Cadastral Department of Viticulture at LEPL National Wine Agency; Davit Abzianidze - CIU Associate Professor, Senior Technologist at Sarajishvili; Davit Maghradze – Deputy Dean of CIU in Scientific Direction, Head of the Cadastral Department of Viticulture at LEPL National Wine Agency; Saba Qitiashvili – Consultant-Winemaker of CIU Faculty of Viticulture – Winemaking, Member of the Tasting Commission of the LEPL National Wine Agency, Founder of Spring Fields.

Upon completion of the project, all participants will be awarded a relevant certificate. Leading students identified through the final testing will be given CIU educational vouchers along with various gift sets:
I place – 1000 GEL
II place – 700 GEL
III place – 500 GEL
Due to the large number of applicants, the registration period was extended by 1 week by the decision of the project organizers.
