Lali Mekokishvili, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Caucasus International University and Nino Nanava, Coordinator of the Quality Assurance Service, held a webinar with lecturers of clinical subjects on June 4. They discussed the challenges of online learning in medical clinical education.
They discussed the core components of clinical teaching and its assessment mechanisms at the webinar. The lecturers in clinical subjects were given recommendations on how to involve students in patient management without going to the clinic, how to assess their clinical thinking and professionalism.
It should be noted that during the period of online clinical learning, students will be able to discuss the cases of a real patient with the lecturers.
The Faculty of Medicine will provide detailed information about clinical teaching to students.
