A memorandum of understanding was signed between Caucasus International University and Security Research Association on December 12.
The memorandum envisages cooperation on current issues in the field of common interests of the parties, joint events, projects and research, as well as the practice of students of the Faculty of Social Sciences in the association.
The document was signed by Caucasus International University Rector, Kakhaber Kordzaia and the chairman of Security Research Association, Besik Oboladze.
After signing the memorandum, Besik Oboladze delivered a public lecture on the topic: “Science for Sustainable Development and Security”. Within the framework of the lecture, the speaker reviewed the security systems, the principles of creating the security concept of Georgia, the goals of sustainable development and other relevant issues in the field of security, and in the second part he answered the audience’s questions.
Before signing the memorandum, Alika Guchua, the supervisor of undergraduate program in International Relations and Vakhtang Maisaia, the supervisor of the postgraduate program in International Relations and International Security addressed the audience.
The event was attended by the administration and students of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
