Student Championship in Billiards was held with the support of the University Sports Federation of Georgia and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia in Billiards Club Rio on February 10-12, 2020.
Gigi and Erekle Khitalishvilis participated in the tournament on behalf of Caucasus International University.
In the first stage, our participants competed without failure and took first place in their subgroups with all wins. In the semifinal, the brothers confronted each other, where Erekle Khitalishvili won.
In the final match, Erekle defeated Georgia’s multiple champion David Avakiani with the score 7-4 and became the winner of the tournament. Gigi won the meeting held for third place and was awarded a bronze medal.
