On May 7, a training session on the topic: “General Course on Public Procurement” was held at the initiative of the Student Advisory Council of the Faculty of Law at Caucasus International University.
The training was conducted by Natia Kiladze – Senior Legal Advisor of the Legal Support Service at “Georgian Post,” Corporate Consultant in Public Procurement, PhD student at CIU Faculty of Law, and a member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council.
The session included both theoretical and practical components. Participants were introduced to the existing legal framework governing public procurement, along with its related sub-legal acts. The practical part of the training enabled students to become familiar with the implementation process of public procurement through tenders and other electronic mechanisms. Current practical issues relevant to both the public and private sectors were also discussed.
