Irma Kodua, Director of Grata DMC and founder of the Georgian Business Tourism Association delivered a public lecture on the topic – Business Tourism at Caucasus International University on December 9.
The presenter defined the concept of business tourism during the lecture, placed emphasis on its importance, constituents and development potential of Georgia in the business tourism industry. In addition, she shared the specifics of business meetings with the audience, talked about the distinguishing factors of standard tourism and business tourism. The issue of signing a memorandum between Caucasus International University and the Georgian Business Tourism Association was also discussed during the public lecture. Cognitive events will be held within the frame of the memorandum and the organization will provide internship programs for CIU students.
Students of the Faculty of Business attended the event, which was organized by CIU Tourism Lab.
