German Unification Experience for Georgia - Scientific Discussion and Concert at Caucasus International University

Scientific Discussion on the topic: German Unification Experience for Georgia was organized by Laboratory for Caucasus Geopolitical Modeling and International Center for Musical Diplomacy of Tbilisi International Relations Institute at Caucasus International University on October 17, 2019.

The scientific discussion was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the unification of Germany. The event was attended by Hubert Knirsch, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Georgia. Jemal Gamakharia, chairman of the Supreme Council of Abkhazia, representatives of the analytical organizations working on Abkhazian and Tskhinvali conflicts and state structures also participated in the event.

A set of proposals and recommendations created within the framework of Aleksandre Rusetski’s Doctoral research project and funded by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation were presented at the meeting. (Project title - Interdisciplinary Comparative Analysis of the Complex System of the Abkhazian Conflict with the Innovative 4D-RAV-17 Method. The aim of this component of scientific research is to analyze the unrealized opportunities for the positive transformation of the Abkhazian conflict (component of German dimension).

The prospects of cooperation between Caucasus International University and German universities were also discussed at the meeting.

After the discussion, the guests had a concert of the German team Voci di Fuoco - My Delight and Thy Delight. Tbilisi folk Assemble Mdzlevari also participated in the concert.
