On July 18, the defense of Master’s Theses at the Program in Media Studies and Multimedia Production of the Faculty of Social Sciences was held at Caucasus International University.
The committee worked with the following members: Manana Shamilishvili - chair of the committee, Doctor of Journalism, Professor, head of the Journalism and Mass Communication Department at TSU; Nino Chalaganidze - Doctor of Journalism, Professor of TSU, Head of CIU Multimedia Center; Khatuna Kacharava - Professor, head of CIU Doctoral Educational Program in Mass Communication; Nino Mindiashvili, Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor of CIU, Head of Doctoral Office; Zaza Tsotniashvili - Doctor of Social Sciences in Media, Professor, Head of CIU Undergraduate Program in Journalism and Postgraduate Program in Media Studies and Multimedia Production.
“Today’s work process was interesting. The postgraduate students appeared very prepared, which makes me very happy. Topics making emphasis on multiple issues were presented, with corresponding in-depth analysis and a high level of professionalism. The multimedia production, which was created by combining theoretical and practical components, is especially noteworthy, and the product is innovative and original. I think that CIU Postgraduate Program in Media Studies and Multimedia Production will be very promising in the future and will occupy a special place in our academic space. I want to wish success to the university and MA students”, - stated Manana Shamilishvili.
The defense of master's theses was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Nana Amiranashvili, the administration of the faculty, supervisors of postgraduate students and interested individuals.
