The premier of radio-movies prepared by students was held at Caucasus International University Multimedia Center on June 5, 2019. It was attended by Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, Chancellor, Marina Gedevanishvili, Deputy Rector, Zaza Tsotsniashvili, Supervisor of Undergraduate Program in Journalism and Nino Chalaganidze, Head of Multimedia Center.
The preparation of radio-movies was carried out within the framework of a two-month training, which was conducted by Sophio Kikvadze and Nino Chalaganidze.
The training – Radio as Multimedia Resource lasted from April 2 to June 2, 2019, which included three stages: Speech Course, Preparing and Recording Texts and Working on Intonation, Work on Radio-Documentalism and Preparation of Radio-Films.
It is noteworthy that after showing the radio-movie Stones directed by Tinatin Mkalavishvili, a fourth-year student of the Program in Journalism, film personage Elene Lukhutashvili was awarded 1000 GEL by the decision of Vakhtang Tsivtsivadze, CIU Chancellor.
The training participants were awarded certificates towards the end of the event.
