From March 17 to 21, a delegation from the University of Gdańsk, Poland, is visiting the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Caucasus International University within the framework of the Erasmus International Education Program.
The delegation includes: Zanna Sladkiewicz, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor at the University of Gdańsk; Anna Hau, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor at the University of Gdańsk and Katarzyna Wadolowska-Lesner, Professor at the University of Gdańsk.
Within the framework of the visit, the Polish professors delivered lectures on the following topics: “Shock Tactics in Advertising Media Discourse” and “Gender Stereotypes in Advertising”.
The guests also had the opportunity to meet Kakhaber Kordzaia, Rector of Caucasus International University, Ekaterine Chalaganidze, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Alika Guchua, Deputy Dean, Svetlana Kirakosyan, Head of the Department of International Relations, Nino Chalaganidze, Head of the Multimedia Center, and Vakhtang Maisaia, Head of the Master’s Programs in International Relations and International Security/Global Politics and Security Studies.
As part of their visit, the professors visited the university library, the Viticulture-Winemaking Building and the wine cellar.
