On April 4, a first aid training session was held for pupils within the framework of the school-educational projects at Caucasus International University.
At the training, the pupils were introduced to the fundamental principles of emergency medical care, required for a correct and effective response in emergency situations. The event was led by Teona Koshadze and Giorgi Mariamidze, students from CIU Faculty of Medicine.
The training included sharing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills such as: rapid assessment of the victim’s condition; recognition of life-threatening conditions; providing assistance in case of heart attack, bleeding, fractures and other injuries; artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques.
The project was implemented under the supervision of Marine Ugulava, Coordinator of School-Educational Projects at CIU Public Relations Service.
Please note that projects are permanently implemented at Caucasus International University in order to raise the professional awareness of pupils.
