An online lecture on the topic - Global Threats from Biological Warfare and Bioterrorism was held at Caucasus International University on May 18.
The online lecture was conducted by Vakhtang Maisaia, Caucasus International University Professor, Doctor of Political Science, an expert in Security Issues and Alika Guchua, Ph.D. student of Political Science, Assistant at Caucasus International University, an analyst of International Security.
The speakers reviewed such important issues as types of weapons of mass destruction; International agreements on their non-proliferation; Biological agent; Entomological warfare, etc.
The second part of the meeting was interactive. Students’ questions mainly referred to current issues of Georgia and world politics, which led to an interesting and active discussion.
