Online lecture on the topic: Big Changes: The End of Western Civilization or Transformation? was organized by Caucasus International University Public Relations Service on June 23.
The online lecture was delivered by Petre Mamradze, Associate Professor at Caucasus International University, Academic Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
The speaker mainly discussed the recent developments in the United States, focusing on the murder of George Floyd which triggered mass protests that led to unrest. Petre Mamradze placed emphasis on its causes, the mood of the population of the United States and the demographic situation in the country.
The second part of the meeting was interactive. Students expressed their interest in current political issues around the topic.
The online lecture was attended by CIU students of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
