The Communications Commission and Media Academy in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia is pleased to announce a competition Real or Fabrication?! in order to develop media literary – critical and logical thinking, analysis and fact-checking skills among the adolescents.
All undergraduate students can participate in the competition.
Within the framework of the competition Real or Fake?! students have to individually complete the following task:
To detect false information spread in Georgian media (Internet, television, print media, etc.) – “Fake News”, which is related to an event taking place in Georgia and which has not yet been proven as false information; to present the way of discovery, relevant source and at the same time establish real facts, a true story.
Students can choose the format of the assignment - video or multimedia work, presentation or other alternative creative form. A paper of any format should be accompanied by references.
