On June 7, a public lecture was held on the topic: “Sustainable Development and Waste Management”. The event was organized by the Faculty of Business and Technology at Caucasus International University.
The meeting was chaired by Nino Tabatadze, Acting Head of Education Projects Service of the Environmental Information and Education Center of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia.
The following issues were discussed within the framework of the lecture: the concept of sustainable development; threats to biodiversity; sustainable consumption and production of resources; challenges and perspectives of waste management; saving resources.
The lecture took place in an interactive format, where the participants of the meeting had the opportunity to get answers to the questions they were interested in.
