Faculty of Medicine has resumed face to face classes in Laboratory and Clinical training courses in accordance with October 15, 2020 decree of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia.
On November 13 and 14, the first practical trainings were held with the students of Georgian Educational Program in Dentistry in the academic course “Propaedeutics of Therapeutic Dentistry” in the phantom classrooms which are functioning on the basis of the University Faculty of Medicine.
Recommendations related to the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) infection (COVID-19) issued by the Ministry of Health (Department of Labor Inspection, Appendix N 38) are strictly followed by the administration, lecturers and students during the face-to-face learning process.
It is worth mentioning that the university administration strictly controls the following: the rules for entering and moving in the university space, maintaining mandatory distance in open and closed spaces. The personal protective equipment is fully used, the rules of hygiene are fully observed and there are small number of students in each group.
