Caucasus International University students visited Dmanisi Museum-Reserve within the framework of the Science and Innovation Festival 2019 on September 28, 2019. They saw the remains of ancient humans and animals. In addition, they became familiar with the historical significance of Dmanisi for the middle-century Georgia, city architecture and monastery complex.
It is noteworthy that the results of the Dmanisi Monument exploration, which has attracted a great deal of attention from the international scientific community, have completely altered the previously held notion of resettlement of hominids from Africa to Eurasia.
The historical excursion of Dmanisi was supervised by Ketevan Shoshiashvili, CIU Associate Professor and historian.
