CIU Grant Competition Winner Doctoral Students at Brussels Conference

Caucasus International University doctoral students participated in International Conference of Law and Political Science organized by International Institute of Engineers and Researchers which was held on March 13-14, 2019.

Tamar Nadirashvili (Doctoral Program in Law) and Mariam Jikia (Doctoral Program in Political Sciences) participated in the conference on behalf of Caucasus International University and they received funding within the framework of the University Young Scientists’ Grant Competition.

The presentation delivered by Tamar Nadirashvili, Faculty of Law Doctoral student referred to the Impact of the EU Association Agreement on Labor Rights (Case of Georgia). The topic provoked great interest and was awarded the prize of Excellent Paper.

Doctoral student of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Mariam Jikidze’s presentation was about Equality in Elections Vs. Gender Quotation. There has been significant increasing interest towards the above-mentioned issue in Georgia. The paper provides analysis of various types of quotations by taking into consideration the cases of several countries.

The complete papers will be published in conference proceedings and will be indexed in international bases.
