The First International Congress of Azerbaijani Dermatology and Venereology Specialists was held in Baku on October 3-4, 2019. One of the members of the scientific committee was Professor Lali Mekokishvili, Dean of CIU Faculty of Medicine. The congress was attended by more than 400 participants from all over the world and it was distinguished by the high level and professionalism of presenters.
Lali Mekokishvili’s presentation – Demodex – the mite, which lives with us was distinguished as very interesting one having practical value. Congress President, Professor Sanan Karimov awarded her a certificate designed by an Azerbaijani artist. In addition, Lali Mekokishvili was named as an honorary member of Azerbaijani Society of Dermatology and Venereology Specialists.
