Bekar Pajishvili, a 23-year-old mountaineer raised the university flag on Mount Kazbek in relation to the 25th anniversary of Caucasus International University. Climbing to the top of one of the highest mountains - Ama Dablam in the Himalayas in 2019 (6812 m) is woth mentioning among Bekar Pajishvili’s numerous achievements.
In addition, he went through Kharakternik route in Ushba in 2017 and was awarded the prize for the best ascent Gold Tserakini together with his team members. He did a rather difficult ascent in Chaukhi, on Asatiani Pillar route in the winter of 2018. Bekar Pajishvili is the son of Olan Gotsiridze, Dean of the Faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking at Caucasus International University.
