Caucasus International University hosted grantees of Young Entrepreneurs Support Program in Rural Areas - Young Entrepreneur on June 7, 2019. The project aims to strengthen economic growth in the regions and promote young entrepreneurs. The program is initiated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and is implemented by Agricultural Projects’ Management Agency with the financial support of International Fund for Agricultural Development IFAD.
The young entrepreneurs' visit at the University was organized by the NGO AgroService, which provides additional service to the Knowledge Management and Public Relations Department in Georgia within the framework of the program.
The representatives of the organization – Mr. Davit Tamarashvili, who is also Associate Professor at Caucasus International University and Ms. Maya Aleksidze offered consultations to grantees in the implementation of the projects, listened to the dynamics of implementation of projects and challenges facing the beneficiaries during the information meeting held at the university. Mr. Olan Gotsiridze, Dean of CIU Faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking showed the guests material-technical base of the university before the start of the meeting and expressed the readiness for collaboration with the grantees which envisages the engagement of students. In addition, he placed emphasis on the collaboration of Caucasus International University with partner Spanish universities and on providing appropriate assistance for the beneficiaries involved in the project.
