Professor Jacob Opiri (Israel) delivered a lecture for postgraduate program students in International Relation, Faculty of Social Sciences within the framework of CIU Fundamental Researches Grant Project – Political Leadership as a Mechanism for the Integration of the Society (the example of Israel) on March 27, 2019.
The speaker talked about the dynamics of Israeli statehood development and the challenges facing the country during the lecture held for students. In addition, emphasized Georgian-Israeli relations and regional challenges.
The second part of the meeting was held in the form of question responses. Students’ questions referred to political, military and economic issues around Georgia and Israel. The guest provided interesting answers to the questions.
Doctor of History, a researcher, a scientist, diplomat Jacob Opiri (Epremashvili) was born in Sokhumi, and continued life and professional activity after Georgia in Israel. However, he has an active contact with Georgia even nowadays.
