The presentation of research outcomes conducted by Mr. Aleksandre Rusetski, Doctor of Psychology, CIU PhD student of Political Sciences was held at Caucasus International University on June 27, 2019.

Alleksandre Rusetski’s dissertation study - Interdisciplinary Comparative Analysis of the Complex System of the Abkhazian Conflict with the Innovative 4D-RAV-17 Method is supported by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation and Caucasus International University.

The speaker presented the topic: Ambivertic Education and Lewis Coser’s Theory of Social Conflict.

“The main cause of unsolved conflicts and problems is of psychological nature and is linked with the dominance of regressive thinking and the basis of this problem lies in the education system. In case of introducing the proposed ambivertic education principles, we may obtain psychological, economic and political results. This would be reflected on such indicator as the United Nations Happiness Index. Today, Georgia ranks 128 out of 156 countries (World happiness report)”- has stated Aleksandre Rusetski.

Several institutional outcomes of the Peace Process Resource Research were also presented at the meeting:

• Project of Tskhinvali Pedagogical Institute named after Saint Rajden;

• Diplomacy Center for Wine and Vine.

Sesili Gogiberidze, Head of Caucasus International University Research Department, Levan Geradze, Head of Peace Research Center (Sokhumi State University), Gocha Chubabria, a representative of Office of Protocol of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Zaza Japaridze, a representative of International Center for Sport Diplomacy and other honorary guests attended the research presentation.

Caucasus International University Administrative and Academic staff, students and individuals interested in the issue also attended the presentation.
