On March 21-27, within the framework of the week, CIU Faculty of Business, in cooperation with the National Bank of Georgia, FinEdu, the Georgian Financial Education Association and OECD International Gateway for Financial Education, will participate in a number of events and initiate activities on its own as well.
The 10th Global Money Week opens on March 21 this year. OECD will organize an international panel, where the President of the National Bank will be invited to participate in the discussion between high-level representatives of different countries at 15:00 Georgian time. The importance of financial education for young people, how the challenges of Global Money Week have changed over the past 10 years will be discussed at the event.
The CIU Faculty of Business, in partnership with the Georgian Financial Education Association, is a partner of the Blog Competition dedicated to Money Week for Global Money Week, organized by the National Bank of Georgia and FinEdu. Within the framework of the week, the Faculty of Business, together with the Financial Education Association, TBC Bank and Embassy, is a partner of the project “Invite a FinEdu Ambassador to the Class”, which is also organized by the National Bank of Georgia and FinEdu.
It should be noted that CIU Business Faculty project “Business Academy 2 - for entrants” is fully dedicated to Global Money Week. This week, several dozen schoolchildren will take part in the project and will be additionally provided with FinEdu materials on financial education.
Within the framework of the week, Caucasus International University Faculty of Business has planned various activities, including the signing of a thematic memorandum, a public lecture and a full coverage of the activities of CIU Dean’s Program “Business Insider” aired at Radio Commersant.
