On May 5, a public defense of the dissertation thesis by Giorgi Pareshishvili, a student of Doctoral Program in Political Science was held in Niko Nikoladze Conference Hall of Caucasus International University. The title of the dissertation thesis is: “The Religious Factor in Contemporary Political Processes (Using Christianity and Islam as Examples)”.
The scientific supervisor of the dissertation thesis was Tamar Kiknadze, Doctor of Political Science, Associate Professor at Caucasus International University.
The official reviewers were Ketevan Shoshiashvili, Doctor of History, Associate Professor at Caucasus International University and Vazha Shubitidze, Doctor of Political Science, Professor at Georgian Technical University.
After the presentation and completion of the required procedures, the Dissertation Council awarded Giorgi Pareshishvili the academic degree of Doctor of Political Science.
