Academic position of Associate Professor - 1 vacancy (Pediatrics).
The contest is announced from October 1, 2020.
Individuals who are interested in academic position should submit the following documentations to the committee from November 2 to November 5, 2020:
- Announcement to contest committee by indicating the appropriate sphere and academic position (to be filled in on spot);
- Autobiography (CV);
- A copy of ID;
- One photo;
- Notarized copies of all educational documents verifying qualification;
A document of recognition under the Georgian legislation should be submitted along foreign educational document/s;
- A document/documents certifying pedagogical-scientific work experience;
- List of scientific publications during the last five years;
- A copy of documents certifying participation in international and local scientific conferences, certificate courses or trainings (under equal conditions, priority will be given to an applicant who has participated in more international scientific conferences, certificate courses and trainings);
- Copies of documents verifying scholarships and grants, if applicable.

In order to qualify for the academic position of Associate Professor, the following documents are required:
- Academic degree of Doctor (PhD) or its equivalent academic degree;
- At least 3 years scientific-pedagogical experience at higher education institution;
- Applicants for an academic position in clinical medicine must present a license for medical practice and a document certifying at least 5 years of work in the clinic;
- Authorship-or co-authorship of scholarly articles published during the last 5 years (under equal conditions priority will be given to a contestant with more international publications);
- Participation in local and international conferences, seminars and trainings during the last 5 years;
- The vision of the courses that the applicant is willing to deliver after occupying academic position;
- Practical experience in working out educational programs and syllabi;
- Under equal condition, priority will be given to a contestant who can certify English language proficiency.
In order to qualify for the academic position of Assistant Professor, the following documents are required:
- Academic degree of Doctor (PhD) or its equivalent academic degree (under equal conditions priority will be given to a candidate with pedagogical-scientific experience);
- Authorship-or co-authorship of scholarly articles published during the last 5 years (under equal conditions priority will be given to a contestant with more international publications);

- Under equal condition, priority will be given to a contestant who can certify English language proficiency.
The contest will be held in two stages:
- Shortlisting candidates;
- Interview with the committee / conducting a lecture (online, if necessary).
Contest Conditions:
Contest application and appropriate documentations must be submitted within the deadlines;
With the purpose of determining the compliance of the applicants' applications with the main criteria, the documentation will be shortlisted by the committee.
The first stage of the contest will be held on November 6, 2020;
The second stage of the contest (if necessary) will be held on November 9, 2020;
The results will be announced on November 9, 2020;
