Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) and Caucasus International University (CIU) is pleased to invite in the 2nd International School Conference – Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology 2019 that will be held on April 1-5, 2019 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The First International School of Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology was successfully held in 2016 by the initiative of TSU and the support of Georgian and foreign partners.
The event is organized with the support of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (SRNSFG). Together with the universities the school-conference will be hosted by partner organizations: Laboratory of the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia (LMA), National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) and Georgian Biotechnology Association (GeBA). Georgian and foreign scientists from leading institutes and research centers in Georgia and in the whole world participate in the event. The scientists present the results of innovative researches in the field of biotechnology and modern achievements.
The aim of the event is to foster the development of biotechnology and applied biosciences in Georgia and their promotion, sharing knowledge and international experience between Georgian and foreign scientists and professional development of young scientists. The theme of the school-conference is diverse and aims at demonstrating the potential of innovative biotechnological solutions for our community and the planet for better!
